We have groups for ages 4-7, 8-12, 13-18, and 18 & up.

French and Haitian Kreyòl do have many things in common, but they’re also quite different in many aspects. Mainly, their grammar and conjugation of verbs stand apart as two separate spheres of linguistics. The pluralization of nouns is yet another stark difference between the two. While French uses clear verb conjugation and tense markers in the verb conjugation, Creole doesn’t. Many times, there are also no tense markers anywhere in the sentence.
There are a lot of Haitian Creole phrases to memorize. If rote learning is not your thing, you’ll be glad to learn that there are other ways to pick up phrases as you learn. Instead of using repetition to memorize new words and sentences by heart, you can learn them through immersion and contextualization.
Whether you’re a complete beginner, or you’re an intermediate learner who wants to brush up on their grammar and language skills, our tutors are here to offer you quality lessons based on communicative methods. Everything you learn will be wrapped into a meaningful context so that you can enjoy language learning as an exciting experience.
Your tutor will teach you the subtle nuances between question words like “ki moun” and “kiyès”, or “kòman” and “ki jan”, and much more! Get ready to take your Haitian Creole knowledge to the next level with negative questions, modal-verb questions, and hypothetical questions.
Despite these slight confusions in terms of verbs and conjugation, Haitian Creole is one of the easiest languages you can learn. It’s a bit similar to French, Portuguese, Spanish, and it also has some influences from English. If you know French, you’ll have absolutely no problems becoming an independent Haitian Creole speaker. Even learning its three different dialects won’t be a problem since Haitian Creole is a vernacular French-based language. It has many things in common with the Napoleonian language.
